Oh, those wacky Virginia suburbs. Always so agonizingly late to glom onto trends. Reston had a Sweetgreen before Ballston did? Blasphemy. But, it's OK, Orange Liners, at least you finally have a Sweetgreen to call your very own.
The newest outpost of the salad-and-froyo chain has opened at 4075 Wilson Blvd. in Arlington. And since it's just a couple blocks from Conte's Bicycles, Gold's Gym and the Tennis Factory, you can fuel up healthfully for your various yuppie fitness pursuits.
If you've never been (because you never go into the District and you're afraid of driving to Reston), know that you can choose from a huge array of salad bar-style fixin's, but -- get this -- someone else makes it for you. And there's always the tart frozen yogurt fad to fall back onto, with toppings including berries, granola and fewer sugar cereal options than other yogurt spots. Whether that's good or bad is up to you.
