The self-proclaimed ambassador of rap for D.C. is taking his act to Six Flags America's "Buzz Bands Bash" on Sept. 20.

Wale -- pronounced Wah-lay (cheers to WeLoveDC) -- is also known as Alex Ovechkin's bro during Washington Capitals games. And he's been getting around, from ESPN to the Virgin Freefest a couple of weekends ago, and he'll be the house DJ for the VMA's this weekend.

On top of that, Six Flags is kicking off season pass sales for 2010 at the same price as this year -- $49.99 -- which also gets you in for the rest of '09. Not a bad deal for a chance to support one of DC's own.
