The late Tim Russert with his son, Luke.
WASHINGTON -- Something is missing from this election cycle, particularly for the NBC family, but Luke Russert is carrying on his father's legacy.
Tim Russert, the late "Meet the Press" host, was a central figure to recent presidential elections. He died on June 13 at age 58 of a heart attack.
Fresh out of college, his son, Luke, covered the Republican and Democratic conventions.
He is working for NBC, covering the election with a youthful point of view.
