Friends and family of Vanessa Pham gathered for a vigil in Vienna, Va., Tuesday night.
The 19-year-old was found stabbed to death in a car in a ditch Sunday afternoon.
Police were called about a car crash, but when they found Pham in the car in the along the south side of Arlington Boulevard in Annandale, they discovered her injuries were inconsistent with what she might suffer in a crash.
Pham had just finished her freshman year at Savannah College of Art.
