In what's become routine for drivers in and around the District, there will be road closures this weekend on the Capital Beltway.
Transportation officials said some lanes of the Outer Loop will be closed starting Friday night.
The closures are so crews can put signs in place for the ongoing Wilson Bridge project.
Messaging to keep right to take local exits will be in white letters on black backgrounds, which is consistent with existing and future permanent LOCAL lane signage, according to WilsonBridge.com.
Single lanes will be closed temporarily during off-peak hours this weekend, with all the lanes opening back up Monday morning.
You can see the new signs just after the Van Dorn interchange of the Outer Loop, and at regular intervals until the lanes split just east of Telegraph Road.
