Some Downtown Streets Closed for Festivities
You didn't really wanna drive on Pennsylvania Avenue, did you?

Drivers can expect street closures and parking restrictions ahead of a St. Patrick's Day 8k race and parade.
The race begins Sunday at 9 a.m., but some street closures began as early as 5 a.m. Runners will assemble on Pennsylvania Avenue N.W. between 12th and 13th streets. Those streets are expected to reopen by noon.
Meanwhile, a St. Patrick's Day Parade will shut down Constitution Avenue betwee 23rd and 7th streets N.W. Those streets are expected to remain closed for much of the day.
