CSX will conduct work on the railroad crossing near the intersection of Randolph Road and Nebel Street in Montgomery County, Maryland, from Saturday, July 18 to approximately Sunday, July 26.
During this time, Randolph Road will be closed between Nebel Street and Parklawn Drive. CSX will remove the crossing surface, replace and surface the track, replace the crossing surface and pave the area.
A detour plan has been developed in conjunction with Montgomery County. Detours will occur heading eastbound from Montrose Road and Montrose Parkway and westbound from Randolph Road to Parklawn Drive.
Signs will be in place directing drivers to alternate routes. Drivers are reminded to use caution and follow all road signs.
