Funeral arrangements have been announced for a Prince George's County police officer who died Monday after his cruiser crashed in the midst of a chase.

According to the Prince George's County Police Department's official blog, the viewing for Officer Adrian Morris will take place Monday at Borgwardt's Funeral Home on Powder Mill Road in Beltsville. The viewing will take place between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., as well as between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

The funeral service will take place Tuesday at Woodstream Church on Lottsford Road in Mitchelville at 10:00 a.m.

Morris, 23, and his colleague, Officer Michael Risher, were in pursuit of a silver Acura that matched the description of a suspect vehicle in a break-in at a gas station on Sandy Spring Road. The two men who were in the Acura at the time of the chase have been taken into custody.

The late Officer Morris was honored with a moment of silence prior to the start of Saturday's Washington Redskins preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts at FedEx Field.
