Naked Man Tried to Break Into Bethesda Home: Police

Montgomery County, Maryland, police are searching for a man who tried to break into a home in the nude.

Surveillance video shows a naked man walking around a home in the 5100 block of Newport Avenue in Bethesda shortly after midnight on Saturday, May 17.

The suspect peered into windows and tried to open a door to get into the home, police said. He fled when a motion light came on outside.

"It's a scary scenario," the homeowner, who did not want to be identified, told News4.

The homeowner later discovered what happened when he reviewed his surveillance camera footage.

"Certainly a bizarre situation. At least, and at most, it's alarming," the homeowner said.
