Metro Transit Police are asking for assistance in identifying four people involved in indecent exposure incidents on the Metro.
The incidents appear unrelated, but police say there has been an increase of indecent exposure reports in the past two months.
"Indecent exposure cases can be a gateway crime to more serious sexual misconduct, which is why we have placed a priority on advancing these investigations," said Metro Transit Police Chief Ron Pavlik in a press release. "We are absolutely committed to keeping Metro a safe space for all riders."
Currently, there are no warrants for the individuals.
Several weeks ago, a woman took a picture of the man she says flashed her. At that time, police said they had received 57 reports of indecent exposure on trains since January.
Female Metro riders say they're aware of the incidents, but aren't too worried.
"I'm definitely aware of my surroundings and that sort of thing, but I usually feel pretty safe, there's lots of people around," one rider said.
