Man Wounded in Police Shooting

Victim expected to survive

    Investigators are trying to figure out what led to a shooting, involving a police officer, in northwest Washington.

    Police said officers were responding to reports of a man with a gun Thursday night in the 5800 block of 13th Street NW.

    One of the officers opened fire, striking a man. He survived; the police officer wasn’t hurt.

    There is no word on the victim’s condition.
