A man robbed and stabbed another man in the Adams Morgan neighborhood in the District, police said.
The attack happened Friday night behind a bank near Columbia Road and 18th Street in Northwest D.C.
The victim told police the man approached him, demanded money and then stabbed him. The victim was able to get help by walking from the parking lot behind the bank where the incident occurred to the front of a nearby restaurant.
The extent of the victim's wounds were not known. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
