A Leesburg woman has been charged in the death of her husband.
On Saturday, around 6:05 a.m., officers were called to a home on the 1600 block of Chickasaw Place, Northeast for a suspicious event. When they arrived they found the body of Kyung Hwang, 63, in an upstairs bedroom. Investigators say that he had suffered multiple stab wounds.

Police brought in Hwang's wife, 57-year-old Dae Hwang, for questioning. After further investigation, police charged Hwang with first-degree murder in the death of her husband.
Hwang is currently being held in the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond. She is scheduled to appear in court for an arraignment hearing Monday.
