D.C. and George Washington University Police are looking for a driver seen following female students around the Foggy Bottom campus during evening and early morning hours.

Friday morning, GWPD sent a campus-wide email alert, notifying students and employees of a suspicious vehicle reported on two separate occasions.

Police tell News4 a student first reported an incident early Thursday morning. A woman told GWPD that a man in a silver Honda followed her for six blocks around campus. A similar incident reportedly happened early Friday morning.

Police also say the car and driver may have been spotted at some point Friday on the campus along H Street, but when officers approached, the driver sped away.

Investigators are looking for a silver Honda with Maryland license plate number 9AY 6901. The person driving is described as a man in his 20s, who was wearing a skull cap.

The George Washington University Police can be reached at 202-994-6111.
