A Virginia man was taken into custody after claiming a bomb was on board a plane in Philadelphia Tuesday morning, authorities said.
It was a domestic dispute, investigators said.
A passenger waiting to board a flight from Philadelphia to Norfolk received threatening text messages alluding to a bomb on board that plane, Air Wisconsin spokeswoman Annette Daly said.
No passengers were on board at the time. Airport security took the plane to a remote area where they searched it and found nothing. That plane has been returned into service but the flight was canceled.
Police have not released the man's identity.
