Residents of D.C.'s Ward Circle neighborhood might see and hear DHS choppers Friday - but don't worry, it's just a drill.

The Department of Homeland Security is conducting a drill that will include having a helicopter fly low over the Ward Circle neighborhood and land at the DHS Nebraska Avenue complex, the office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton said in a statement.

The drill may occur once in the morning and once in the afternoon, weather permitting.

The exercise will test whether DHS is ready to evacuate officials from the Nebraska Avenue headquarters, the statement said.
