A woman's body found in a Prince William County dumpster has been identified.

On March 23, fire fighters responded to a blaze in a dumpster at the Bayvue apartments in Woodbridge.

Once the fire was put out, investigators found human remains in the ashes.

Authorities say the deceased is Erica Dawn Maynor, age 25.  Police consider her death suspicious.

According to investigators, Maynor was known to frequent Fairfax, Alexandria, Woodbridge, and D.C., but had no fixed address.  Police said she went by the nickname "Kitty" or "Kit."

Prince William police are asking anyone with information to call 1-866-411-TIPS.
