We'll likely to see gas prices take a considerable jump within the next week.

Many oil companies will switch over from a winter blend to a more expensive summer blend in April. That could add 10-20 cents per gallon.

Analysts expect pump prices to reach $4.25 a gallon before we see any sort of drop in mid-May.

Right now in our area, AAA says the average is $4.13 a gallon in the District. In Maryland, the average is $3.93 which is up a penny overnight. In Virginia, drivers are paying about $3.83 which is also up almost a penny. And in West Virginia, you're paying about $3.93 a gallon.
