Barricade Reported Near Nats Stadium

Police shut down several streets in the shadow of Nationals Stadium Wednesday morning for a barricade situation -- which was resolved with no injuries.
Police said a person was barricaded inside a home at 54 N Street SW. The incident started at about 5 a.m. Police have not said who was barricaded inside, but police sources said they believe a man was holding a woman hostage.
A SWAT team was called to the scene.
The following roads were closed in the area:
- Half St S.W from M St to P St S.W
- First St and N St S.W
- Howison Pl and N St S.W
- Canal St and O St S.W
- Delaware and M St S.W
- South Capitol and N St S.W
