Police said a man shot and killed two women before turning the gun on himself Friday afternoon.
Prince George’s police were called to the 1500 block of Addison Road South in District Heights, Maryland. When they arrived, they discovered three people with gunshot wounds.
One woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A man and a woman were taken to the hospital where they both died a short time later.
The women were identified as Zonita Monia Robers, 42, of Smyrna, Georgia, and Angela Lynette Johnson, 43, of Oxon Hill, Maryland. The man was identified as Leroy Johnson, Jr., 45, of Oxon Hill and the estranged husband of Johnson.
Detectives said the preliminary investigation suggests the man shot both women before turning the weapon on himself.
