An Amber Alert was terminated Wednesday afternoon for a 3-year-old southwest Virginia boy.
Virginia State Police said that the alert had ended, but there were no immediate further details.
Police said Tuesday they believed that the boy, Tommy Lee Able Engle, had been abducted by his father, Tommy Lee Travis Engle.
The boy had last been seen Monday around 6:30 p.m. on Oak Hill Lane in Critz, Virginia.
Authorities said his father had made suicidal and homicidal threats toward law enforcement in the past, and that he may have been armed with an AK-47 and a bulletproof vest.
