Lady Gaga will join "The Voice" finalists to rock out the season 5 finale.

In an explosive season that saw Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green return to the big red chairs alongside Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — even as Cher guest-mentored and Shelton's winning streak finally came to an end — "The Voice" is set to go out with bang when the season five winner is crowned this week.

Lady Gaga, Celine Dion, NE-YO and OneRepublic are all set to perform in the live two-hour fall finale on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.

Gaga will perform her current single “Do What U Want,” from her latest release “ARTPOP.” Dion will duet with NE-YO on the song “Incredible” from her new album “Loved Me Back to Life,” and OneRepublic will perform “I Lived” from their recent album “Native.”

But first the top three contestants — Tessanne Chin, Jacquie Lee and Will Champlin — must prove their mettle on the "Voice" stage and wow America with their final performances when the lights come up on Monday night's penultimate episode.

Team Adam leads the charge with two of the three finalists, chanteuse Tessanne and pitch-perfect Will. Team Christina fills the remaining berth with pint-sized belter Jacquie.

Powerhouse Jamaican pop singer Tessanne, 28, charged into the finals with her take on the Simon & Garfunkel classic "Bridge Over Troubled Water." She spent three years singing backup for reggae legend Jimmy Cliff before becoming a solo artist in her native country, but major U.S. recognition has eluded her until now.

"I've never been speechless on the show before, but I was amazed," said coach Adam of Tessanne's semi-final performance.

Levine's second finalist, 30-year-old Will, was born into a musical family: his dad was a singer, songwriter and keyboardist for the rock band Chicago. The L.A.-based musician is now a father himself, to a one-year-old daughter he says is his inspiration.

Perhaps not his strongest performance during the competition, Will's semi-final rendition of "Carry On" by indie pop band Fun. allowed him to show a lighter side to audiences, with whom he has clearly connected following several close calls with eliminations early in the season.

Hailing form Colts Neck, N.J., 16-year-old Jacquie's ability to belt out a tune is belied by her petite presence. For the semis she performed the Sarah McLachlan ballad "Angel," and her blues-tinged arrangement even struck a chord with the usually stoic Cee Lo. "It was wonderful, and just when I'm thinking I'm jaded," he admitted. "I was affected by that performance tonight."

"You showed the most dynamic and the best vocal performance that you actually ever have on this show," gushed proud coach Christina of her young charge.  "Honestly, you straight up won tonight in my heart."

Season five marks the only time in "Voice" history that Team Blake won't be represented in the finals.

A win for Jacquie would be the first time Team Christina has taken the "Voice" crown. Team Adam produced season one's victor, Javier Colon, with Team Blake taking the top spot each season afterward thanks to winners Jermaine Paul, Cassadee Pope and Danielle Bradbery.

Jacquie, Tessanne, Will and their respect cheer squads — both in the studio audience and in living rooms across the nation — will have to wait until Tuesday night to find out who is ultimately crowned "The Voice."

To close out the fall series, the season five champion will perform an original song by OneRepublic founder and "Voice" in-house songwriter-producer Ryan Tedder at the show’s conclusion.

"The Voice" finale airs live Monday at 8/7c and Tuesday at 9/8c ET on NBC.
