    "Logorama," a dazzling 15-minute thrill ride across Los Angeles starring more than 2,500 logos, including Ronald McDonald  as a burglar who goes on the lam following a shoot-out with the cops and an ugly hostage situation, took Best Animated Short.

    It was floating around in cyberspace for awhile, but seems to be gone. If you can get your hands on a copy, it's worth the effort.

    Thank heavens this film won, otherwise we'd have absolutely zero to sat about this or the other two Shorts categories, documentary and live-action short film, which were won by "Music by Prudence" and "The New Tenants," respectively.
