“Brendan Shanahan” Punishes “Alex Ovechkin” for Double Parking

At last night's NHL Awards, comedian Will Arnett impersonated Senior NHL Vice President of Player Safety and Hockey Operations/league disciplinarian Brendan Shanahan in a number of skits.

One of them, shared below, is of "Shanahan" punishing Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin for poorly parking his car:

Video footage shows Ovechkin parking his car "in a selfish and reckless manner," leaving two wheels in forward Brooks Laich's reserved spot.

According to "Shanahan," Ovechkin is in violation of Rule 313.764B: "When you park in North America, you do so between the lines."

"Some people say this is out of my jurisdiction, but those people have been suspended," he says.

Ovechkin has had his license revoked, his car impounded and will be forced to ride on the back of Mike Green's Vespa.
