Wind Chills Dip Into Single Digits Tonight, Sunday Morning

A Storm Team4 Weather Alert is in effect as temperatures drop into the 20s and wind chills dip into the single digits in some areas Saturday night through Sunday morning.

Saturday warmed to about 30 degrees but winds made it feel like the teens and 20s.

Storm Team4 says the bitter cold and single-digit wind chills will continue into Sunday morning. One upside: there will be plenty of sunshine. High temperatures will peak in the upper 20s.

Winds will start to calm late Sunday night.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day may not be the ideal holiday as far as temperatures. Monday's expected high is in the low 30s. If you plan to volunteer or participate in events or parades, make sure your bring some scarves and gloves to keep warm.

Beyond the cold, Storm Team4 expects a chance for snow late Tuesday into early Wednesday morning.
