The National Cathedral holds its annual Flower Mart Friday and Saturday, offering the best in floral design and arrangement just in time for spring.
In addition to viewing amazing bouquets from many of the D.C. embassies, there will also be plant and garden sales, boutique booths and activities for the kids.
The Flower Mart honors the United Kingdom this year by featuring a free lecture from British horticulturist John Grimshaw on Saturday. The opening ceremony will be conducted by Lady Sheinwald, the wife of the United Kingdom's ambassador, followed by a bagpipe player.
