Tyler Clippard: Great Pitcher, Horrible Drummer

Washington Nationals reliever Tyler Cippard has had a solid season so far; he picked up his 17th save of the season Tuesday in the Nats' 5-2 victory over the New York Mets and has allowed only 16 earned runs in over 44 innings of work this season.

Drumming, on the other hand? Not one of Clippard's strong suits.

Along with fellow bullpen pitchers Craig Stammen, Ryan Mattheus and Sean Burnett, Clippard visited the MLB Fan Cave in New York before the team began its series against the New York Mets.

Watch the video below:

Clippard then took the drum kit, where he displayed his ... well, lack of musicianship (though he was not wearing his trademark rec specs, so perhaps he couldn't see what he was doing).

The trip to the Fan Cave wasn't a total loss, though. Clippard beat Stammen in a game of Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots and hit an impressive shot in skee-ball.

Either way, don't quit your day job, Tyler.
