The Washington Nationals' 3-2 loss to the Atlanta Braves Sunday at Nationals Park was forgettable.
But after just five pitches in the bottom of the first, Steve Lombardozzi and Bryce Harper did something historic.

According to Elias Sports Bureau, Lombardozzi and Harper are the first rookies to lead off a game with back-to-back home runs in the modern era (since 1901).
Lombardozzi's homer was the first of his career, while Harper's was his fifth.
