The Wizards have announced their four-game 2021-22 preseason schedule which will begin on Oct. 5 with an intriguing matchup against the Houston Rockets. The Rockets have former Wizards star John Wall plus the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 draft, Jalen Green.

The Wizards will also see the New York Knicks twice in the preseason following an eventful offseason that saw them land guard Kemba Walker after he was bought out by the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Wizards will also face the Toronto Raptors, who added Scottie Barnes, the fourth overall pick in the 2021 draft class.

Here is Washington's four-game schedule:

Oct. 5 - at Rockets, 8 pm

Oct. 9 - vs. Knicks, 7 pm

Oct. 12 - vs. Raptors, 7 pm

Oct. 15 - at Knicks, 7:30 pm

The Wizards will be introducing a lot of new players during the preseason. They drafted Corey Kispert with the 15th overall pick, plus acquired Spencer Dinwiddie, Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Aaron Holiday via signings and trades. They also selected Isaiah Todd in the second round of the draft.

Washington will also have a new coaching staff led by head coach Wes Unseld Jr. The organization has undergone a lot of change this summer, which means there will be plenty of new faces to get used to beginning on Oct. 5.
