The NHL is back outside this weekend, as four franchises -- Colorado, Las Vegas, Philadelphia and Boston -- traveled to Edgewood Tahoe Resort in Lake Tahoe this weekend as part of the NHL Outdoors series.
Lake Tahoe, right in the middle of the Sierra Nevada mountains on the California and Nevada, is considered by many to be one of the most scenic places in the country.

So, as you would expect, the views from the NHL Outdoors series this weekend are nothing short of spectacular.

Fans were not allowed to attend due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but that didn't stop some of them from showing up in some fashion.
Before puck drop, several fans hopped on kayaks right along the edge of the lake just a few hundred feet from the rink.
The Colorado Avalanche and Las Vegas Knights faced off on Saturday afternoon to kick off the series. The Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers will play outdoors on Sunday afternoon.
