Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes are the great young quarterbacks taking over the NFL. They all may have great battles on the field, but off the gridiron, they share a mutual respect for one another.
Last week, one of the greatest moments from Thursday Night Football was Watson taking a seat next to Mahomes on the bench after running out of bounds. Mahomes took a break from looking at film to acknowledge him. You don't always see opponents being welcomed on the other sideline but clearly it's all love between those two.
We saw Mahomes and Watson last week and this week what a treat to get Watson and Jackson. The two found each other on the field pregame to pay respects to one another.
This offseason, Patrick Mahomes received a 10-year extension worth up to $503 million and Deshaun Watson soon after was rewarded with a 4-year $160 million extension. Many think Lamar Jackson is next.
Oh and get your popcorn ready, the Ravens and Chiefs will meet next week for Monday Night Football.
