Lakers Broadcast Puts Isaiah Thomas in Wizards' Starting Lineup Over Russell Westbrook

Oops, wrong No. 4.

Ahead of the Wizards' matchup with the Lakers Monday night, Spectrum Sportsnet made a slight mistake that had social media doing a double-take at Washington's starting lineup.

Everyone was accounted for in the pregame graphic, except Isaiah Thomas' picture was in place for Russell Westbrook's slot as the starting point guard.

In their defense, the last time the Wizards played the Lakers, Thomas was Washington's starting point guard and wore No. 4 -- which was back in 2019. The two-time All-Star spent half a season with the Wizards before getting traded to the Clippers at the 2020 trade deadline.

Thomas hasn't been in the NBA since the Wizards sent him to L.A. and he was subsequently waived. Most recently, he scored 19 points for Team USA in a win over the Bahamas Friday in a FIBA AmeriCup qualifying game.

Tune in to NBC Sports Washington at 9 p.m. on Tuesday for full coverage of the Wizards' next game against the Los Angeles Clippers
