How to watch D.C. United's Inaugural Capital Cup exhibition games originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
While Major League Soccer breaks for two weeks to allow its players to play for their international teams during the FIFA international window, D.C. United announced it will crown a first-time champion with the inaugural Capital Cup at Audi Field.
The four-time MLS Cup champions welcome El Salvador's Alianza FC, Costa Rica's Liga Deportiva Alajuelense and Mexico's Club Puebla for a three-match round-robin style exhibition tournament. After each team plays each other over the course of the week, whoever ends with the most points will be crowned as the first-ever Capital Cup champion!

Capital Cup Players to Watch
Óscar Cerén, Right Winger, Alianza: The Alianza right winger is a creative force from the flanks, and he can also be deployed as a second striker for the Salvadoran club. He also has a brother, Darwin, playing in MLS for Houston.
Alexander López, Attacking Midfielder, Alajuelense: The former Dynamo playmaker never quite found his footing as a Designated Player before returning home to Honduras five years ago. Since, López has cemented himself as the initiator of all good things going forward for the Costa Rican giants.
Santiago Ormeño, Striker, Club Puebla: The talented poacher has quite the nose for goal and is just one of several highly skilled players for what should be considered the favorites for the inaugural crown. Ormeño has scored 18 goals in 44 appearances for Puebla, and will surely be the first name on the scouting report for D.C. United manager Hernan Losada on July 11.
