How to Buy a Capitals Reverse Retro Jersey

How to buy a Capitals Reverse Retro jersey originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

Earlier this month, the Washington Capitals unveiled their newest look for the 2020-21 NHL season. Known as the Reverse Retro jersey designed by adidas, the red sweater with a screaming eagle symbol showcases an important era in the team's history

Now, the players won't be the only ones who can rock the new style, as the Capitals are making the jersey available for fans to purchase beginning Tuesday, December 1.

The tops will be solid online at the Monumental Sports & Entertainment Online Store and Shop.NHL.com, but they can also be purchased at the team stores at Capital One Arena and MedStar Capitals Iceplex. Both will feature limited quantities of certain jerseys and names.

At Capital One Arena, fans can grab men's and women's Alex Ovechkin Reverse Retro jerseys as well as men's Tom Wilson, T.J. Oshie, Jakub Vrana and Nicklas Backstrom jerseys in the same style. Only 25 people will be allowed in the store at a time due to COVID-19 safety protocols.

The store at MedStar Capitals Iceplex will sell men's and women's Ovechkin, Wilson, Vrana, Oshie and Backstrom jerseys as well as ones with no names or numbers on the back. Shoppers must create an account before arriving.

More information on the entire catalog of jerseys as well as purchasing information and store hours can be found here.

The Capitals Reverse Retro jersey was already a must-have for Washington fans, and now with its release to the public, it can act as the perfect holiday gift this season.
