Dwayne Haskins' First Interception of 2020 Shows One of His Biggest Flaws

Dwayne Haskins' first INT of 2020 shows one of his biggest flaws originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

Dwayne Haskins wasn't picked off in either of his first two games of the 2020 season. The QB finally threw his first interception of the year against the Browns on Sunday, though, and the mistake illustrated one of his most glaring flaws.

In the second quarter, Haskins tried to connect with Logan Thomas deep over the middle of the field. Unfortunately, the 23-year-old sailed the ball, which allowed Browns safety Karl Joseph to snag it instead of Thomas:

That sort of miss from Haskins — high and hot — is one that's plagued him since he joined the Washington Football Team. It was at the root of multiple turnovers during his rookie campaign and was obviously the cause of his error in Cleveland.

As the franchise tries to figure out whether Haskins is their long-term answer, they'll need to see him be more accurate. In other words, they'll need to see fewer poor attempts like the one above.
