Bryce Harper's First MLB Hit Eclipsed by Full Moon

Washington Nationals phenom Bryce Harper made his long-awaited MLB debut Saturday against the Los Angeles Dodgers, going 1-for-3 in the Nats' 4-3 loss.

His first major league hit was a thing of beauty, barely missing going over the wall in deep center field for a double.

Yet, Harper's first double will not be the only pair remembered in the an(n)als of history.

If you look carefully (or want to), you can clearly see a group of overzealous Dodgers fans who decide to all stand up and moon Harper and/or Chad Billingsley right before Harper spanks the ball to the outfield.

Here's yet another look:

I guess you could say that Harper's first hit came once in a Dodger Blue moon. Either that, or it was eclipsed by a full moon.

I'm sorry, but Harper is now the butt of jokes.
