Hundreds Wait Outside Post For Obama Edition

Washington Post editions hit eBay, NY Times edition going for $100

The post-Election Day edition of The Washington Post that is sitting on your kitchen table could be worth some money.

Hundreds of people lined up outside the Post on Thursday morning, waiting to get their hands on a copy of Wednesday's paper after it quickly sold out in stores and businesses across the city.

More than 20 copies of the Post were also put up for bid on eBay.

Some of the newspapers up for sale were fetching at least $26 by 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Meanwhile, people were lining up Wednesday afternoon outside The New York Times headquarters in New York City to get a copy of that paper's historic edition.

Copies of the Times were going for up to $100 on eBay Wednesday afternoon. The Post has a phone recording informing callers that more copies of the Nov. 5 edition will be available Thursday at the following locations:

7-Eleven
CVS
Giant
Harris Teeter
Shopper's
Safeway

The cost of the paper: $1.50.
