Claims of New Poison Gas Attack in Syria

Syrian opposition called on the United Nations to investigate claims of new poison gas attacks by regime's forces Sunday after activists said civilians were targeted in a rebel-controlled village in Hama province, NBC News reported. The Syrian Coalition said reports from the area on Friday indicated “scores of civilians, including children, show symptoms including asphyxiation, involuntary salivating, and frothing at the mouth." In August last year, a chemical attack near the capital killed hundreds of people. The U.S. and its allies blamed the Syrian government for the attack.
