Third time’s the charm for actor Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves, as they get ready to welcome a new addition to their family.
The “Magic Mike” star took to Twitter Wednesday to share the news.
“Happy birthday America, more good news,” the 42-year-old actor tweeted. “Camila and I are expecting our 3rd child, God bless, just keep livin.”
The actor and Brazilian-born model began dating in 2006 after meeting in a Los Angeles bar, and got engaged on Christmas Day in 2011. They are already parents to daughter Vida, 2, and son Levi, who turns 4 this week.
According to Alves, the couple initially was in no rush to get hitched.
“We've been living a married life for over six years now,” Alves, 30, told ET Canada earlier this year. “We have homes together, we have family together, we have kids, we've built a life together. So we've been living a married life this whole time.”
McConaughey and Alves exchanged vows on June 10 in an intimate ceremony at their Austin home.
