A roadside bomb in Afghanistan killed five U.S. soldiers Thursday, the U.S.-led International Security Assistance Force said. NATO initially only reported the five killed were "foreign" troops, but later a Pentagon spokesman told Reuters they were U.S. troops. The attack raises the death toll of foreign troops killed in Afghanistan to 51 this month, the BBC reports. On Saturday, militants killed 30 soldiers—many of them members of the elite SEAL Team 6 that killed Osama bin Laden.
