Police have arrested a man who is accused of leaving decapitated chickens outside a home in Westport, Connecticut.
On Friday at approximately 11:30 p.m., a homeowner reported an illegal dumping complaint on Franklin Street to police.
The homeowner told police that a suspect, later identified as 48-year-old Ajamu Obataiye, of New York City, just dropped a bag on his property and was running south on Franklin Street towards the Saugatuck Railroad Station.
According to officers, the bag contained two decapitated chickens and one white pigeon.
Police located Obataiye at the train station.
The homeowner's home surveillance footage confirmed Obataiye was the suspect and he was taken into custody, police said. There's no known connection between Obataiye and the homeowner.

Obataiye is facing charges including cruelty to animals, illegal dumping and breach of peace. He was released after posting a $7,500 bond and is due in court on April 23.
The case wasn't listed in online court records and it's unclear if he has a lawyer.
