“Cheech & Chong” House Now a Fixer-Upper for $344K

The home that appeared in the 1978 flick "Up in Smoke" is on the market for an affordable-by-movie-homes-standards $344,900, reports the Curbed. The reason for such a low asking price? It's totally dilapidated state. This Lincoln Heights, California spread epitomizes the words "fixer upper," though it's pretty awesome that this house was once featured in Cheech & Chong's first feature length movie.

The Highland Park house was built back in 1906 and is located on a prime corner lot. Curbed reports that the home was foreclosed on last November, and since then, the home has definitely fallen into a state of disrepair.

In the movie, the house belonged to Cheech's Vietnam vet cousin Strawberry.

The listing photos don't do much to glamorize the house, but there's actually a ton of potential. The movie home spans two stories and over 2,500 square feet of space. There's also a back guest house, which features one room.

Yikes. This kitchen needs a good scrub down, though with new cabinetry, appliances, and countertops, it could look just like new, right?

The "Up in Smoke" pad features two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The sellers likely could've left this shot out of the public listing photos.

The lot boasts a backyard and a large patio. While the home clearly needs a ton of work, the property certainly has a lot of potential for the right fixer upper fam.
