Guests staying overnight at Walt Disney World Resort will soon start paying for parking.

Beginning March 21, only guests staying overnight on property will have to start paying for parking. Those visiting the resort for the day will not have to pay for parking.

Prices will vary according to hotel category. Those staying at value resorts, like the All Stars, will pay $13 a night. Those staying at moderate resorts, such as the Port Orleans Resort, will pay $19 a night. Those staying at deluxe resorts, such as the Grand Floridian, will pay $24 a night.

A spokesperson for Disney said they are joining the many other hotels that already charge guests for overnight parking.

Certain guests are exempt from paying for parking, and they include: Disney Vacation Club members, guests with disabilities, guests attending conventions or are part of a group, and guests of the Fort Wilderness Campsites.
