A woman using a motorized wheelchair stabbed a man outside the Tenleytown Metro station in Northwest Washington Friday afternoon, police say.
The east entrance to the station, where the stabbing took place, is taped off, but the incident started across Wisconsin Avenue near the west entrance, where the man and woman got in a dispute of some sort, officials said.
The woman is in custody.
The man was taken to a hospital. His condition is unknown but he was conscious and breathing.
Police recovered a large knife at the scene.
