Student, 16, Arrested for Allegedly Having Knife at Montgomery County School

A 16-year-old student was arrested for allegedly having a knife at a Montgomery County high school Wednesday morning.

Montgomery County Police said the student was arrested at Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, Maryland.

The school resource officer found the knife after searching the student. The student was taken into custody and is being questioned.

The school was under a temporary lockdown.
