Speed, Alcohol May Be Factors in Fatal Va. Crash: Police

Fairfax County police believe speed and alcohol were factors in a crash that killed two people in Burke, Virginia. 

Burke residents Cristian G. Dominguez, 25, and Cristian A. Merino, 28, were killed when Dominguez lost control of a Saturn sedan and struck a tree on Burke Commons Road about 12:20 a.m. Monday, police said. They were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 25-year-old passenger in the back seat was not injured. That person was wearing a seat belt.
