Police are searching for a missing 9-year-old girl who was last seen Tuesday in D.C.
Sophia Proctor, 9, was last seen at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of 14th Street NW, police said.
Sophia is four feet, eight inches tall and weighs 50 to 60 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white dress, a white sweater, a white headband and silver shoes.
Police believe she is with her mother, Julia Proctor, 27. They did not have additional details immediately but a release described the girl as "critical missing."
Proctor is five feet, four inches tall and 100 pounds. She was last seen driving a 1998 Volvo with D.C. tags EK2268.
