A Virginia man suspected of fatally stabbing his brother and injuring another relative died Thursday, authorities said.
The suspect, Mohammad H. Raza, 20, was accused of killing his brother, 24-year-old Haseeb Raza, Tuesday morning in at a home in the 4100 block of Travers Court in Chantilly.
Mohammad Raza then stabbed a 61-year-old relative who tried to intervene, authorities said.
The relative ran down the stairs of the home and escaped.
Police say Mohammad then shot himself in the chest. He was taken to an area hospital. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
