Police say a pedestrian was struck and killed on U.S. Route 1 in Laurel.
Howard County police say the 22-year-old man was hit shortly before dawn Wednesday. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Police say the driver of the car that hit him wasn't injured and no other vehicles were involved.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
