A D.C. firefighter will not be charged in a violent crash that killed a man and injured two other people.
DeAngelo Green, 32, was driving a car involved in a crash with a fire truck heading to a call March 9.
Green was pulled from the wreckage but pronounced dead at a local hospital, a D.C. police department representative said.
A firefighter and a pedestrian — a pregnant woman — were hurt and taken to hospitals.
The U.S. Attorney's Office said it thoroughly investigated the case and won't file charges.
The truck was impounded as evidence, but the department received a letter saying it can have the truck back.
